Holistic Assessment Services
I support learners and their related systems through assessments, interventions, professional development and psychotherapy. All to encourage more positive outcomes for these learners.

School Readiness Evaluations
This is an evaluation designed to determine whether a young child is developmentally prepared to succeed in a formal school environment, typically primary school. It examines a child’s cognitive, language, motor, social-emotional, and self-help skills to assess their overall preparedness for the academic and social demands of school life. The main goals of a school readiness assessment are to:
Identify a child’s developmental strengths and areas that may need support
Inform placement decisions (e.g., readiness for grade 1 or recommendations for delayed entry)
Guide early intervention and support strategies
Support educators in planning appropriate instruction
Help parents understand their child’s developmental progress
This is the use of tools and guidance to help individuals understand their interests, strengths, values, and personality traits in order to make informed career decisions. These assessments may include aptitude tests, interest inventories, and personality profiles, while guidance is to explore suitable education and career paths, set goals, and develop a plan for future success.
Career Assessments and Guidance
My assessments usually include: An intake session, two separate days of assessment, a written report and a report feedback session.

This is a comprehensive evaluation conducted by a licensed psychologist or trained specialist to understand how a student learns and processes information. It assesses cognitive (thinking), academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning to identify strengths, areas of development, and any learning or psychological difficulties that may affect academic performance or daily functioning. An assessment is typically used to:
Understand a student’s unique learning profile
Diagnose learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia, dyscalculia), ADHD, intellectual disabilities, or emotional issues
Determine eligibility for special education services or academic accommodations
Inform individualized teaching strategies and support plans
Guide interventions in both school and home settings
Therapeutic Services

Play Therapy
This is a specialised form of psychotherapy that uses play as a way for children to express emotions, process experiences, and resolve psychological challenges. Play is considered a natural medium for children to communicate, explore feelings, and develop coping skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a structured, professional treatment that helps individuals manage emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Through guided conversations clients explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to improve well-being, cope with stress, and develop healthier coping strategies. I conduct psychotherapy with children, adolescents and students. I have experience working psychodynamically with clients as well as have a preference for CBT, narrative and solution-focused approaches.
This involves working with families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships. These sessions help family members understand each other’s perspectives, address specific issues, and work together to support one another’s well-being.

Accomodation and Professional Development Services

Workshops
These are interactive, hands-on learning experiences focused on a specific topic or skill. They encourage active participation, discussion, and practical activities to help participants gain knowledge, develop skills, or solve problems in a collaborative setting. I have experience with providing workshops on the following topics: Trauma and team building.
Assessment Accommodations
These are adaptations to testing conditions that allow learners with disabilities or learning differences to demonstrate their knowledge and skills fairly. These may include extra time, scribe, reader, or breaks—without altering the test's content or learning expectations. Recommendations for these may be made in my reports and I offer a professional in-house service where I can send trained student professionals to schools to provide these accommodation services for formal and informal assessments. These professionals will have completed the relevant training to assist your child.
These are informative sessions delivered to students, teachers, or parents on various topics, such as mental health, academic skills, career guidance, or personal development. They aim to educate, inspire, and provide valuable insights to enhance learning and well-being within the school community. I have experience in topics around self care, bullying, social media and study skills.
