What is an Educational Psychologist?

About Me

Amber Samanther Pinho

I am a dedicated and professional educational psychologist with over 7 years of experience working with children in a variety of educational and therapeutic contexts. I have a passion for the topic of resilience and aim to promote resilience in the lives of little people and the systems around them. My approach is very holistic and systematic and I do not look at children in isolation but instead as unique beings within unique systems. No two children that walk into my practice are the same. As a therapist my interests lie in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, narrative and solution-focused approaches. I specifically enjoy using art and sand tray strategies. I provide both psychotherapy and play therapy options. This support also extends to family therapy and parental guidance.
